St Paul’s Catholic College, Manly is currently seeking a passionate and highly skilled Technologies (TAS) Teacher with the ability to teach Food Technology. This is a Permanent, full-time opportunity to commence Term 1, 2024 . Part-time will also be considered for the suitable applicant.

Specific Criteria

Working collaboratively with teachers at the school you will be responsible for implementing innovative and evidence informed practices that improve outcomes for all. Being prepared to grow and learn is an essential part of this role as we aim to ensure success for all our students.

 

  • Highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner committed to the ethos of the Catholic School
  • Capacity to contribute to the school’s Continuous Improvement Cycle and is committed to student achievement
  • Proven ability to apply sound pedagogical practices to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the needs of all learners
  • Skilled in analysing and reflecting on student learning data to ensure learning growth for all students;
  • Highly effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices
  • Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community.
  • Proficient in the use of technology to enhance student learning
  • Ability to teach Stage 4 Mandatory (Coding, Timber & Plastics) with ability to teach Stage 5 and 6 Food Technology (willingness to teach STEM may also be an advantage).

Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.
