Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our nursery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with children using the Montessori curriculum, fostering their independence, curiosity, and love of learning. This full-time role can be worked over 4 or 5 days, providing flexibility and a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities based on the Montessori curriculum.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing detailed records and reports.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and team members.
  • Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and nursery policies.
  • Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant early years qualification (e.g., Level 3 or higher) is required.
  • Experience with the Montessori approach is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a dynamic environment.
