Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our nursery team. The successful candidate will work closely with children using Montessori play methods to support their growth and development. This role involves working 4 or 5 days a week, offering flexibility and a good work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality early years education and care using Montessori play principles.
  • Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities for children.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, keeping detailed records.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's development.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or above is required.
  • Experience with Montessori play and teaching methods is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to a dynamic environment.
