Robertson Public School has served its rural locality since 1871 and will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2021. The school is strongly supported by a committed and hard-working Parents & Citizens Association who provide ongoing support both financially and physically. They are integral members of all decision-making processes and pride themselves on their commitment to encouraging parent and community participation and involvement.

Robertson Public School is a K-6 school with an enrolment of 135 children in 2020. The school has a small percentage of students who identify as aboriginal students or Torres Strait Islander. There are 6 mainstream classes from K-6.

Our school strives to ensure all children reach their potential through the provision of an engaging and challenging curriculum. The school's focus is to maximise student performance in all curriculum areas particularly in literacy, numeracy and technology. Students are supported to achieve their personal best by dedicated and committed staff who continually strive to improve their pedagogy and practice through engagement in continuous professional learning and mentoring.

Robertson Public School also provides a variety of extracurricular activities including band, choir and dance. All stages learn music in class, with teams of students being involved in the Festival of Instrumental Music, Southern Stars and local Choir performances. Individual music lessons are also available. The school has a strong commitment to involvement in all sports and children are given the opportunity to participate in PSSA sporting events.
