Newtown Public School is a comprehensive primary school for 398 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school is located in the heart of Sydney's Inner West. Our school community is a diverse and vibrant mix of inner city families. The school provides a comprehensive curriculum with a focus on working closely with the school community, as well as other local primary and secondary schools as a community of shared practice. A strong foundation of school improvement in Literacy and Numeracy is balanced with an emphasis on integrating the learning across the curriculum.
