Camp Banksia's 22 bunk style cabins are designed to make your stay as comfortable and carefree as possible, with easy access to facilities. Clusters each have their own unisex and universal access bathroom. Dedicated disabled toilet and shower facilities are also available. Guests need to supply their own bedding and towels; we supply mattresses only. Alternatively, bedding and towels are available for hire. There is a laundry for use by guests free of charge.
CAMP BANKSIA'S FEATURES INCLUDE:
- A large sunny main hall and dining room is the centre of the camp, with a lovely view over the lawns to the pond which is a home for ducks, frogs and native birds. The hall is adjacent to the kitchen facilities and has wheel chair access.
- Extensive open grassed areas for many outdoor activities or just to enjoy a quiet stroll around the camp.
- Port Sorell Community and Performing Arts Centre is adjacent to the camp with a state-of-the-art stadium, meeting rooms and Performing Arts area which is available for hire through Camp Banksia.
- A sports oval for those who wish to be active playing a game of football, soccer or cricket.
