Chicken farming in the living world: Stage 2

Resource Description

Chickens are fascinating animals and provide students with an interesting subject matter to discuss the many aspects of our living world. 

This interactive course for students explores the question 'How do we create food and fibre products from animals and plants?' and comprises a series of modules and supporting videos. 

Students will work in small groups to plan, design and create a model of a product,  system or environment to support the growth of a plant and/or animal that could be used in a healthy meal. 

They will present their model to an audience.  

The modules are supported by a teacher guide.
