About Collingwood Park State School

Our school focuses on key areas including continued improvement in literacy and numeracy outcomes, implementation of the National Curriculum, reinvigorating inquiry learning in science as a Science Spark School, enhancing the school ICTs program and continuing the recognized excellent practices which support students and contributes to the positive school culture. There is a keen focus on differentiating learning to meet the needs of all students as individuals throughout all classes of the school.

Our school's explicit improvement agenda as a Literacy and Numeracy National Partnership School is supported by a literacy/numeracy coach and a team of highly capable staff. Information and communication technologies are integral to class programs with all classrooms having internet connectivity, interactive whiteboards and desktop computers. The Media Centre enhances IT opportunities for classes and the school media club.
