About the Role:

As a Cleaner you will contribute to quality service by assisting and supporting the facilities team to provide a safe and healthy environment for all members of the community. Hours of work will vary between 5:00am to 5:00pm - Monday to Friday. There may be a requirement to work additional hours. The shift arrangements are split. A split shift allowance will be paid each day a split shift is worked.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
  • Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
  • Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces.
  • Disposal of rubbish and litter control including removal of material from drains and gutters between and/or surrounding buildings.
  • Dusting including student and office furniture, equipment and fans.
