Tabulam Public School is situated in Northern NSW, in the rural community of Tabulam, 57km from Casino on Wahlubal lands of the Bundjalung Nation. The school (enrolment 45, 85% ATSI) has strong community engagement and is recognised for quality teaching and innovative programs. Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) and Visible Learning are well established in the school and all students have a Personal Learning Plan (PLP). The school has been engaged in the EaFS program since 2012 and has a 0.6 Instructional Leader.

 

Tabulam Public School students engage in meaningful learning in a stimulating educational environment through fostering a growth mindset, enquiry and creativity. The school is focused on developing the academic, social and emotional wellbeing of all students with the school values of being safe, responsible and respectful learners underpinning all expectations across the school. Technology, Aboriginal perspectives, Aboriginal culture and future focussed learning are integrated throughout the teaching program.   The school is developing a closer relationship with Bonalbo Central School with a focus on transition and professional learning as well as local Aboriginal cultural engagement.
