Kingswood High School is a comprehensive coeducational high school and is comprised of 830 students, including 8.2% of students from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background and 10.3% of students who receive English Language Proficiency support.

The school occupies spacious grounds with specialised facilities, including a state of the art Trade Training Centre.
