Looking to implement a Bring Your Own Device programme in your school, kura or other setting? BYOD programmes are increasingly an expected part of many schools and classroom programmes. This workshop will examine best practice in a BYOD 'roll-out', and how to identify and avoid some of the pitfalls. It is intended for those who may be supporting or leading BYOD in their schools.

  • describe the attributes of effective learning and how these apply to BYOD in your context
  • identify the key milestones of a successful 1:1 implementation 
  • be aware of technical and infrastructure considerations and know where to get further support
  • identify professional learning needs in 1:1 roll-out and begin planning for your context.
