ReWild the Child 2 - The Great Outdoors. Next Gen Education

Following our inaugural sell out ReWILD the Child event, which showed parents and anyone with a vested interest in childhood why sending kids outside to roam in nature was better than putting them in front of a screen, Subjects that Matter, in association with The Deep Green Bush School, proudly present: ReWILD the Child 2 - The Great Outdoors. Next Generation Education.

Date November 25, 2017 - November 25, 2017
Time 2:00pm - 4:30pm

It is increasingly important that we connect children to nature; the reasons behind this need are far-reaching. On a global scale, parents and educators are now taking deeper notice of the significant benefits seen by not only playing in nature but learning in nature.

As such, this event will reveal why playing and learning in the great outdoors is one of the most valuable and effective ways to educate a child. Our future generations deserve to be taught within a system that realises their full potential and guides them to create a vibrant and sustainable future.

Accordingly, we bring you four expert, inspirational speakers, each championing complementary aspects of a nature-based childhood.

You’ll also view a specially tailored premiere of international award-winning Film, NaturePlay. This 18-minute film sample includes actor Matt Damon’s endorsement of a movement that seeks to leave the current education system behind.
