Fiona Forbes has worked in special education for the past 18 years, 14 as principal of Peel Language Development School in WA, and was last year recognised with an honorary doctorate from the Australian Catholic University. Having spent the past 18 months as project manager of the Leading Learning 4 All resources initiative, and served for nine years as national president of the Australian Special Education Principals’ Association (ASEPA), she has just taken over as president of International Confederation of Principals (ICP).
"I don’t think inclusion has anything to do with place. I think it has to do with people," ICP president Fiona Forbes says.
