About the Role:
We are searching for a school officer with enthusiasm and a passion for learning to join our dedicated team of professionals in Prep. We want a person who will strive to create a positive learning environment for the students in our care. In this role you will be supported by the three other members of the Prep Team (two teachers and a support school officer). Our school has a beautiful Prep environment with open bright rooms and ample play spaces.

To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience to the Year 2 classroom, as well as:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills
  • Show initiative
  • Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes


To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
  • holding a certificate III or IV in education support would be advantageous
