Weta Workshop Experience (Guided Tour)

Weta Workshop is a multi-award winning design studio and physical manufacturing facility servicing the world's entertainment and creative industries for more than 20 years. Located just a few minutes from the Weta Cave, the Weta Workshop Experience is nestled discreetly on the Miramar peninsular.

Surrounded by props, costumes and models, guests are guided through the creative design and manufacturing processes used by Weta Workshop. 

This space is designed for groups between 20 to 50 guests per departure and is available for pre-bookings only. Guides will provide teachers and students with a unique insight into how Weta Workshop brings imagination to life.  During your tour, your group will be seated for a screening of our Behind-the-Scenes documentary showcasing the family of creative companies that surrounds Weta Workshop.

At the end of your groups experience, you will have the opportunity to snap some unique photos and purchase any mementos of your visit from our gift shop.
