School / Last updated 4 years, 2 months ago

South West Rocks is a coastal town with a population of around five thousand located on the Mid North Coast. The school has an enrolment of 350 students of which 18% identify as being of Aboriginal or Torres Straight Islander decent.

Our school implements a range of strategies to maximise success for all students, including Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL), Personalised Learning Plans and Individual Learning Plans. Students are able to access additional academic, sporting and performing arts programs in whole school programs. L3 strategies are used in K to 2 to maximise literacy outcomes for students.

We are committed to promoting and celebrating student achievement and building an educationally connected community where families are actively involved in their child’s learning. The school has close links with our community organisations such as the SWR Surf Club, Country Club, sporting clubs and local businesses. The school is supported by an active P&C association.
