The Top Didj Cultural Experience has been developed to offer visitors to the Katherine Region, a unique cultural interaction with the aboriginal people of Katherine. The experience captures their rich culture and provides an avenue for local indigenous artists to tell their story and to showcase traditional activities such as fire lighting, spear throwing with a woomera and painting whilst educating visitors of their culture and way of life. The cultural experience is designed to promote a positive experience with the aboriginal; people. They own a beautiful culture that amazes many travelers.

This fantastic 2 ½ hour interpretive experience will not only teach your students about
Our local indigenous culture but also provide many hands on activities such as:

  • Learning about indigenous culture and art
  • Paint a piece of Indigenous artwork
  • Learning how to throw a spear using a woomera
  • Test their skills at fire lighting
  • Get to hold or feed baby wallabies
  • View and purchase some of the best indigenous art and
  • Didgeridoos in the Northern Territory
