Santa Sabina College Tallong Campus is an outdoor education, conference, and retreat centre situated on 97 hectares of beautiful Southern Highlands bush land in Wood Wodi country, just 2 hours drive from Sydney.

Tallong Campus offers accommodation for up to 175 guests in a tranquil environment, with ample meeting spaces and high quality facilities.

The standard of catering and accommodation is excellent.

Programs at Tallong Campus promote interaction with the natural world, with the aim of developing understandings of our relationships with the environment and others, while learning about ourselves.

As a retreat centre, the campus' beautiful natural environment facilitates engagement in spiritual reflection and personal growth. A labyrinth onsite enables a further dimension to retreats.

Outdoor Education Programs at Tallong Campus are holistic and experiential. They seek to contribute to a sustainable community, which cares for the earth. A “Plan > Do > Review” learning process encourages participants to be reflective so that they can apply their learning to future activities.

Collaboration, problem solving, communication and teamwork are core skills, which are developed through the programs. Participants develop appreciation for their own and others’ gifts and are encouraged to value diversity.

There are a variety of activities available at Tallong Campus that can be incorporated into the programs to facilitate the achievement of different objectives and outcomes. These may include:

  • Low and High Ropes Courses
  • Orienteering and rogaining courses
  • Abseiling
  • Bushwalking

  • Flying Fox
  • Giant Ladder Group Activity
  • Ladder Climbing and Prussiking
  • Group Initiatives and Problem Solving Tasks
